Community

The CurioCity community is about more than finding science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) resources and activities that you can use in projects and classroom assignments. It’s also a place where you can connect with the STEM community and learn how science, technology, engineering and math impact your everyday life and shape your future.

Utilize Our Award-Winning Programs

CurioCity is based on the popular science teen ezine, CRAM Science, which was created by Amy Cook and Mira Ray in 2006. CurioCity was launched in 2009 by Let’s Talk Science, an award-winning national education and outreach organization that creates and delivers science learning programs and services to children, youth and educators all across Canada.

Since 1993, Let’s Talk Science has inspired over 3 million children and youth with its programs. At Let’s Talk Science, we work with education partners to develop engaging and relevant science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning resources, planning tools and programs to support busy educators for their critical role in creating dynamic classrooms and inspiring futures. All educator resources developed for CurioCity have been created and reviewed by qualified educators with a deep understanding of Canada’s education systems and the latest pedagogy.
